Not everytime, depends mostly on whether my index finger is otherwise engaged. From there I started using it for XCVFG sometimes. I think it started with Alt, which I just never used, but does freelook in PUBG, and sliding the thumb over made sense. You can't tell me you looked at standard keybinds, decreed 'that's unpossible!' and forsook spacebar as a real keybind and put some bullshit utility command on there. I'm leaning towards this whole thing being a troll, if you're hitting shift with a thumb crossover. The amount of games that don't allow rebinding of menu controls or mirror action rebounds is infuriating (Resi 2 remake deserves a shout-out for this as it does it perfectly).

My biggest bugbear with this though is when you can completely rebind movement and action controls, go into a menu or map and everything is hardbound around WASD. The only time I have issue is if lean is built in and defaulted to Q and E as I can't replicate that due to R being reload, so I usually have to find a work around for that. Over the years I've pretty much developed my own binding anyway so I'd still need to rebind a bunch of stuff - Q's always been Use/Activate, A is Map, T and G are Character/Inventory and Skills, W is heal/secondary use, Z is crouch and Ctrl is prone or whatever is needed. WASD always feels cramped to me when hitting Tab/Shift/Ctrl but I accept that I have fairly large hands so that's a personal preference thing.

This bug was reported in November 2017 for aquatic update snapshot 17w45b, and I am dismayed to find it still not fixed in 1.13-pre. When I try to map the controller directly to Minecraft under Minecraft Options./Controls., every button on the PS4 controller generates the same scancode.256 entry in the Minecraft Control mappings and Minecraft doesn't respond to the controller in-game. Minecraft 1.13-pre, however, doesn't recognize any of the DS4Windows keyboard emulation configured to my PS4 dualshock controller. This has worked (and continues to work) with every Minecraft version prior to the Aqua Update snapshots. I use DS4Windows to map my PS4 dualshock controller buttons to keypresses used in Minecraft PC/java edition. PS4 dualshock controller no longer working with Minecraft (1.13-pre)
